Dr. Gareth A.
Howlett is Investment Director at Brooks Macdonald Asset Management Ltd.
He joined the firm in 2009 and is responsible for ensuring that the disciplines of fundamental research are applied across the firm’s stock selection and portfolio construction activities.
He is a member of both Asset Allocation and Investment Committees and sits on the company UK stocks research team.
He has over 30 years of investment management experience.
Prior to joining Brooks Macdonald, he worked at Adam & Company Investment Management Ltd as Chief Executive Officer.
In this role, he managed a wide range of private client and charity portfolios, including two global unit trusts.
He previously worked at Baillie Gifford and Stewart Ivory, managing institutional and private client portfolios.
He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (Chartered FCSI).
