Transparent Value Advisors (TVA) uses a proprietary investment methodology, the Required Business Performance (RBP), as well as fundamental, cyclical and technical analysis to identify and evaluate investment opportunities. TVA's investment approach focuses on measuring the performance implied (i.e., RBP) in the price of a stock and then benchmarking that implied performance against management’s ability to perform in the past (i.e., RBP probability). The RBP methodology is a reverse discounted free cash flow analysis using a company’s current stock price, its income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine what the current price of the stock implies about future free cash flow and RBP. Investments may include small-, mid- and large-cap common stocks, derivatives, REITs, US Government securities, repurchase agreements, mutual funds, and ETFs. Portfolios are not actively managed and are designed to track a quantitative strategy index. Portfolios may or may not offer a high degree of correlation within the index. In addition, assets within portfolios are concentrated in an industry or group of industries to the extent that the index concentrates in a particular industry or group of industries. Portfolios may also be non-diversified.
