Mr. Mark Himpoo is a Joint Chief Investment Officer at Playfair Asset Management Pty Ltd. He brings to Playfair more than 30 years of experience in equity markets, mostly in senior positions with leading asset management institutions in Australia.
Mr. Himpoo's most recent asset management role was as Senior Manager, Equities at UniSuper.
He played a key role in UniSuper’s transformation, which saw UniSuper amongst the first to pioneer the successful “internalisation” of direct investment.
He was responsible for managing a $4bn Australian Equities portfolio within UniSuper.
