Robert Adams

Robert Adams is a Director of Tekelec Corp., the Los Angeles Opera Co. and has been a Director of QPC Lasers, Inc. since May 2006.
He is a Life Member of the President's Council of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Adams began his career as an Engineer at Bendix Aviation.
Previously, he was a Design Engineer of Inland Steel Co. and a Control System Designer of TRW/Bunker Ramo.
In 1969, Mr. Adams joined Xerox Corporation, where he served as Vice President of Marketing for the Scientific Data Systems Unit, President of Printing Systems and Group Vice President of the Xerox Systems Group and was appointed Executive Vice President in 1986.
For the past 5 years, he has managed Adams Capital Management.
Mr. Adams received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
