Colin Banfield

Mr. Colin Banfield is Head-Investment Banking at Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. (China).
He has nearly over 19 years of advisory and capital market investment banking experience and has been working in Asia since late 1995.
He has advised on a broad range of assignments across each of the different countries within the Asia region and has been instrumental in driving cross-border deal flow and dialogue with the other regions globally.
Prior to Nomura's acquisition of Lehman Brothers' Asia operations he was head of M&A at Lehman Brothers Asia where he worked with his partners to build the number 1 ranked M&A advisory business in Asia and before that he held a similar role at Credit Suisse.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London with KPMG Peat Marwick and holds a degree in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics, University of London.
He is from Hong Kong and is fluent in Cantonese.
