Dr. James D.
Peterson is a Managing Director at Charles Schwab Investment Advisory, Inc. He is responsible for strategic asset allocation, investment manager research, and the advice content underlying many advice tools for Charles Schwab & Co. In this role, he also serves as a portfolio manager for Schwab Intelligent Portfolios and Schwab Intelligent Portfolios Premium.
Prior to joining Schwab in 1998, Dr. Peterson was an assistant professor of finance at the University of Notre Dame.
He earned a doctorate in Finance from Louisiana State University.
