Since not all factors add value all the time, combining them into a portfolio of diversified factors contributes to more consistent excess return. PPCM uses the same factors, but with different weights, across the four different screening models for institutional equity products: Large-Cap Growth, Mid-Cap Growth, Small-Cap Growth, and Large-Cap Value.
