MYDA Advisors is an active manager that invests in restricted securities and private equity. The firm invest certain assets directly or indirectly in privately owned companies. Until such time as a portfolio company becomes a public company, such portfolio will be comprised of non-marketable securities and non-public companies. Any such securities or other acquired interests will generally have restrictions on resale and, even in the absence of such restrictions, may not be marketable.
