The Swiss Association of Telecommunications (asut) is an industry association for the telecommunications sector, focusing on advancing information and communication technologies to support digitalization, innovation, new services, business models, and societal transformation. The private company is based in Bern, Switzerland. It acts as a mediator between technology, politics, and society, advocating for optimal conditions to develop digital communication, network, and data infrastructures. Asut represents Swiss interests in telecommunications standardization, coordinates national positions within the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), and manages the telecommunications standardization sector in the Swiss Association for Standardization.
