Peter Canelo

Mr. Peter Canelo is a Chief Investment Strategist at Argus Research Co. In his role, he looks at the market from a top/down perspective and simultaneously evaluates a broad list of companies on the basis of growth, value, quality and momentum.
He has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry with five major Wall Street firms.
Mr. Canelo has previously served as head of the retail strategy team at Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley, with responsibility for recommending asset allocation for private taxable accounts.
His analytical contributions were consistently among the highest of the top producers in the Morgan Stanley retail system from 1998 through 2001 and with Private Wealth Management System in 1999-2001.
He was among the highest-rated U.S strategists among European institutional clients in both 2000 and 2001.
He received his BAA in architecture degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA in finance and monetary economics from Columbia University.
