William McShane

Mr. William McShane is an Economist & Research Assistant at Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung Halle.
He joined the Department of Financial Markets as a doctoral student in December 2017.
He works as a research assistant to the president of IWH, in addition to his role as a researcher at the Otto von Guericke University, Magdeburg.
His research focuses on financial stability and the effects of financial intermediation on the real economy.
William McShane received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Beloit College in the United States and earned a master's degree in international economics and finance from Otto von Guericke University, Magdeburg.
