Mr. Gerhard Fiala is the Founder and a Managing Partner of PONTIS Capital GmbH.
He is specifically responsible for deal flow generation and acquisition of companies, negotiations with (potential) portfolio companies as well as the management of exit strategies.
Mr. Fiala also represents the PVP I fund on several supervisory boards; he is in charge of investor relations and also looks after external company relations.
Mr. Fiala is one of the founding members of the Austrian Private Equity and Venture Capital Organisation (AVCO) in 1999 and was its former chairman between 2000 and 2004.
In June of 2005 he was elected to the board of directors of the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA).
